Hess Motorsports Honda Talon / Pioneer Piston Kits:

We specifically designed our BILLET pistons to maximize the power from the Talon and Pioneer. We didn’t just take a piston off of the shelf and call it good. Lots of testing was done before deciding on a design. We offer both 11.5:1 and 12.5:1 Compression Ratios to meet the demands of our customers. With the 11.5:1 pistons you can still run Pump gas but it needs to be 91 to 93 octane. With the 12.5:1 pistons you must run Race Gas. You can expect more HP gains by adding our pistons to this kit.
