It must be stated that early tin toys depicted African Americans in negative and vicious stereotypes and freedom from these stereotypes is still at issue today. We take the view that we should not shy away from what is uncomfortable but should use it remind us how far we have come and how far we have yet to travel towards equality and liberty.
