The most basic gear oil offered by Driven, GL-4 protects yellow metals and provides proper synchronization to prevent clashing in synchronized manual transmissions.
Best suited for use in classic muscle car manual transmissions such as Muncie where yellow metals are a concern and GL-4 gear oils are preferred.
For rear ends/differentials consider Driven GP-1 GL-5 80W-90 over this product as it contains higher levels of extreme pressure additives and limited slip.
Formulated with high-quality conventional base oils. Viscosity typical of 80W-90.
